Floppaland on Android
Lots of you asked about a mobile version, so here's the honest answer.
Android version: ready, but not publishedThe build is prepared. It's on hold until there's a way to publish it safely.
Why isn't it on Google Play?
Because of EU rules for online marketplaces (the Digital Services Act), Google Play has to show the contact details of developers who sell or earn money with their apps, and that includes a physical address, publicly on the store page.
Floppaland is made by one person, not a big studio with an office. Publishing it on Google Play would mean my private address is visible to anyone who opens the store page. I'm not willing to do that, so the release is on hold for now.
What does that mean for you?
- The Android version isn't cancelled forever. It's prepared and waiting.
- As soon as there's a safe way to publish it without showing a private address, it will come out.
- Until then, you can play the free Early Access demo on Windows and Linux.
